R8 16.5-inch Crossbar
Sold in pairs | For half racks, very small garage gyms, or as an extension to a 6-post rack
R8 16.5-inch Crossbar
Sale Price$69.00
Product Features
Great fit for small training spaces
- The 16.5" length of this crossbar, combined with the 3" width of each upright, results in an overall depth of 22.5" on our R8 racks
- This makes the 16.5" version an excellent fit for small garage gyms
- Training fully inside the cage isn't unrestricted for most users, though
- In that case, we recommend adding our front-foot stabilizers to allow training in front of the half rack without any tipping risk
- More commonly, though, this shorter crossbar is used to expand a four-upright power rack into a 6-post system
- This not only increases rack stability – it also gives you more mounting options for attachments like weight pins, so you can store weight plates on the rack in a space-saving way
Available in an elegant chrome look
- The 16.5" crossbar is available in two different colors
- Our standard version comes in graphite black, with a double-layer powder coat applied to intensify the color effect
