We build equipment to be trained on for decades, and we stand behind it. This page is the complete text of the ATLETICA Care Warranty for products sold by ATLETICA USA LLC. It is a limited warranty. It comes on top of the 100-Day Trial and on top of the rights you have under state and federal law.

What is covered, and for how long

5-year limited warranty — every component. ATLETICA USA LLC (“ATLETICA”) warrants to the original purchaser that every product we sell is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for five (5) years from the date of delivery.

Lifetime limited warranty — the load-bearing steel. For the following parts the warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product, meaning for as long as the original purchaser owns it:

• structural welds on attachments and frames,
• weight bench frames,
• power rack connector beams (the horizontal profiles that connect the uprights),
• kettlebells.

“Defect” means a fault in the material or in the way the product was made that stops it from doing what it is designed to do. Normal wear, cosmetic changes and damage caused from outside are not defects (see “What is not covered”).

Who is covered

The warranty covers the original purchaser of a product bought from ATLETICA USA LLC — on atleticagear.com, in our Brand Store in Corona, CA, or through one of our sales representatives — and is not transferable. Keep your order confirmation; it is your proof of purchase and delivery date. The warranty applies to products used in private garage and personal gyms and to products used commercially, provided the product is rated for that use (commercial-grade products are marked as such on the product page).

What we do when something is wrong

If a covered defect appears during the warranty period, we will — at our choice — send you the replacement part, repair the product, or replace it with the same or a comparable product. Replacement parts and any return shipping we ask for are free of charge within the 48 contiguous states. If a part is no longer produced, we supply a part of at least equal quality and function. If none of this is possible, we refund the purchase price of the affected product. Repairs and replacements are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

How to make a claim

1. Fill in the service ticket form on our Contact & Support page — the fastest way — or email service@atleticagear.com. Please include your order number, the product and part concerned, a short description of the problem and a few photos or a short video.
2. We respond within two business days with the next step — usually a replacement part on its way to you. Sometimes we ask for another photo or for the part to be sent back to us (free of charge) so our engineers can look at it.
3. Please don’t continue to train on a part you suspect is defective until we have looked at it.

There is no registration requirement. Keeping your order confirmation is enough.

What is not covered

• Normal wear and tear — for example worn knurling, faded upholstery, stretched bands, worn grips, cables and pulleys at the end of their service life, or bearings that have run their course.
• Cosmetic changes that don’t affect function, such as scratches, chips in the powder coating, marks from bars and plates, or surface rust caused by sweat, humidity or outdoor storage of indoor products.
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, overloading beyond the stated load ratings, dropping equipment that is not designed to be dropped, improper assembly or installation, missing anchoring where the manual requires it, lack of maintenance, or use for a purpose the product was not designed for.
• Modifications, and damage actually caused by third-party parts. Using third-party parts does not void this warranty by itself — only damage they cause is excluded.
• Transport damage and missing parts on delivery. Please report these within 5 business days of delivery; they are handled under our Shipping Policy at our cost.
• Products bought second-hand, B-stock sold with a disclosed defect, and consumables.

Legal terms

The Care Warranty is a limited warranty. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranty on a product — including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — is limited in duration to five years from delivery or, for the parts covered by the lifetime warranty, to the life of the product as defined above. To the extent permitted by law, ATLETICA is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, such as lost training time, gym membership costs or the cost of assembling and disassembling equipment.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Nothing in this warranty limits liability for personal injury caused by a defective product or your remedies under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or other laws that cannot be waived.
