CPU vs. TPU: Built for Long-Term Use
- CPU delivers high abrasion resistance and holds its finish even under heavy, repeated use

- Medium knurling provides a secure, non-slip grip without feeling overly aggressive.
- The hexagon shape adds stability and improves safety during training.

Still Have Questions?
1. What are the main advantages of hexagon dumbbells?
The biggest advantage is their hexagonal shape, which prevents the dumbbells from rolling away when placed on the floor. This provides more safety and stability, especially for exercises performed on the floor, such as renegade rows, push-ups, or planks. The flat sides also make it easier to set the dumbbells down between sets. The hexagon dumbbells are available in pairs or as a set.
2. What is the grip of the dumbbells like?
The grip has a medium-sharp knurling and thus ensures a firm grip during training.
3. How is the weight marking applied to the dumbbells?
The weight sizes are permanently engraved into each dumbbell head. This makes them highly visible and easy to identify, so you can quickly find the right weight.
4. Can I use the hexagons in an outdoor gym?
Yes, the hexagon dumbbells from ATLETICA can also be used in an outdoor gym. Thanks to their robust construction with a durable coating, they are resistant to impacts and everyday outdoor use. The hard-chrome coating on the handles prevents rust formation. However, it is important to store the dumbbells dry after training and to protect them from prolonged exposure to the elements such as rain or direct sunlight in order to preserve their service life.
5. Can I also buy the dumbbells in sets that are not offered on the website?
Yes, simply contact our sales advisors. We would be happy to put together a custom set for you that is precisely tailored to your needs and training goals.
6. What is the difference between hexagon and hexagon PRO dumbbells?
The hexagon dumbbells feature a PVC coating.
The hexagon PRO dumbbells, on the other hand, are manufactured using the high-quality CPU process (cast polyurethane). This process makes them significantly more resistant, more durable, and higher-quality in finish. This makes the hexagon PRO the highest quality level among the hexagon dumbbells
