Still Have Questions?
1. What is the main advantage of the SZ curve?
The main advantage of the SZ curve is minimizing the risk of injury in the elbow and shoulder area. The ergonomic curve of the bar brings your arms and wrists into a more natural, gentler position.
2. What makes the ATLETICA SZ bar stand out?
The ATLETICA SZ bar weighs exactly 22 lb, which allows for better weight calculation and sets it apart from other SZ bars on the market, which mostly weigh 21 lb. Combined with our Preacher Curl Bench, this creates the optimal resistance profile for effective biceps training.
3. How does the SZ bar help reduce injuries?
The curve of the bar allows for an ergonomic arm position during curls and other exercises. This reduces the strain on joints like the elbows and wrists, which is especially beneficial during high repetitions and intense training. Many training settings, from strength athletes and beginners to rehab facilities, rely on this shape.
4. What is the grip of the SZ bar like, and does it provide a secure hold?
Yes, the SZ bar provides a secure hold during sweaty workouts. The medium-coarse knurling extends over a large area of the barbell. Combined with a shaft diameter of 28 mm, this ensures a firm, slip-resistant grip even when your hands get sweaty.
5. Which weight plates fit on the SZ bar, and how long are the sleeves?
The sleeves are 7.5" long, providing enough room for your weight plates. So you can easily use your existing Olympic weight plates.
6. What material is the SZ bar made of, and is it durable?
The SZ bar is made of steel, which ensures robustness and durability. It is also finished with hard chrome, which ensures a long service life and an attractive look. The chrome color ensures the bar fits in perfectly with any gym visually.
